MISSION STATEMENT
The Fire Chiefs Association of Santa Barbara County is committed to enhance Fire and Emergency Services through leadership and collaboration for the communities we serve.
As an adjunct body of the Fire Chiefs Association of Santa Barbara County, the Santa Barbara County Training Officers Association mission is to maximize operational readiness among the county's fire service personnel. In achieving our mission, the Association's goals are to identify training needs, acquire cost-effective courses and instructors, and provide firefighters access to those courses.

10/07/2019 Trench Rescue Tech October 7-9 2019 in Lompoc CA. 24 Hour course will include classroom and field training to effectively and safely work in a trench rescue environment. Training includes: Trench and excavation regulations, understanding soil, trench configurations, trench hazards, rescue team preparation, incident response, pre entry operations, shoring systems and components, instillation of shoring systems, victim rescue and recovery.
